Professional Membership
Professional (voting) membership in ISFD is available to individuals whose primary occupation for at least two years has been the practice or teaching of furnishings design. Includes contract, residential, and custom designers of furniture and related furnishings.

Members of furniture design firms, furniture manufacturer design departments, or freelance home furnishings designers.

Multiple Member Design Firm or Department
Membership for design firms with two (2) or more members. One (1) Design Firm Principal/Partner/Owner must sign up for a Professional Designer membership, additional firm members may be added for a fee of $125 each
Affiliate Membership
Individuals whose work in the visual arts is related to the furniture and home furnishings industry. Examples include photographers, engineers, graphic artists, interior designers, and showroom designers, plus allied craftsmen. Affiliate members may serve on committees other than the Nominating and Executive Committees. This is a non-voting membership. Affiliate members are not eligible to receive discounted Pinnacle Awards entry fees.

$35 Student Membership
Individuals currently enrolled in a college, university, or private furniture or industrial design, architecture or interior design program. This is a non-voting membership. Membership term is for one year.

$600 Sustaining Membership
Corporations or individuals who wish to support the objectives of ISFD. Each Corporate Sustaining Membership includes up to three individual memberships for persons employed by the member firm.
